We understand that plans can change and your planned holiday may not go ahead. Please see below our cancellation terms and conditions.

Echuca Holiday Homes has also partnered with nib Insurance to offer our guests discounted domestic travel insurance to bridge the gap between our cancellation policy and life’s unexpected plans!!

We have partnered with nib to offer our guests discounted travel insurance, so if your plans change, or the unexpected happens, you may be covered.

Cooling-Off Period (Direct Bookings Only)

If you’ve booked directly with Echuca Holiday Homes and have a change of heart, we offer a full refund within 24 hours of booking.

  • Please note: If your booking is made within 7 days of arrival, the cooling-off period does not apply.
  • Also, credit card processing fees are non-refundable, as they are retained by the payment provider.

Cancellation Timeframes

More than 8 weeks before arrival (56+ days)

Cancel with plenty of notice and you’ll receive a full refund, minus a $150 cancellation fee.

Between 4 and 8 weeks before arrival (29–55 days)

If you cancel during this period:

  • We’ll do our best to rebook the home.
  • If we’re successful, you’ll receive a refund based on the value of the replacement booking, less the $150 cancellation fee.
  • If the home isn’t rebooked, your deposit will be forfeited.

Less than 4 weeks before arrival (28 days or fewer)

For cancellations made with less than four weeks’ notice:

  • We’ll still make every effort to rebook the property.
  • If we’re successful, you’ll receive a refund based on the value of the replacement booking, less the $150 cancellation fee.

If the home isn’t rebooked, your deposit will be forfeited.

Rebooking & Partial Refunds

If we’re able to rebook the property after your cancellation:

  • If the replacement booking is equal in value, we’ll refund you in full (minus the $150 cancellation fee).
  • If it’s lower in value, we’ll refund the amount we recover, less the cancellation fee.
  • If we’re unable to rebook, your deposit is forfeited.

We always do our best to rebook the property, and if a refund is due, we’ll process it promptly once the replacement stay has taken place.

Other Things to Note

  • Credit card fees are non-refundable, as they’re collected by the payment gateway, not us.
  • Third-party bookings (e.g. Airbnb) are subject to the terms and conditions of the platform used. Please refer to their site directly for cancellation details.
